Stinging nettles and cider vinegar can be used to make a refreshing conditioner. Nettles provide nutrients and are traditionally used for hair and skin care; cider vinegar helps restore the hair’s natural pH and may help reduce irritation and flaking.

How to make the nettle-vinegar infusion

Add cider vinegar and several spoonfuls of dried nettles to a bottle with a lid. Leave to macerate for around two weeks or longer, then filter out the nettles and place the solution in a spray bottle.

How to apply

After washing your hair, rinse with warm water and spray the prepared infusion evenly onto the hair. Leave it to act while you wash your body, then rinse with cold water. Preferably let the hair air-dry or use a hairdryer on the cold setting.

Attention: Although nettles are widely recognised for hair and scalp care, some people may be sensitive. Carry out a sensitivity test before use, especially if you have a very sensitive scalp.
