Paper allows you to freely explore the relationship between image and colour.

In this workshop, you will work with natural inks adapted for printing on paper and wood, exploring repetition, transparency, layering and composition to create a small graphic series.

create two colours;

experiment with layering motifs and colours;

I want to gain my autonomy — 1 day

The first part will be dedicated to building a sampler with several types of support, including paper, card, wood, glass and cork, among others.

You will learn to:

prepare the paper and the printing space;

understand the characteristics of each ink and adapt it to the types of support;

experiment with layering motifs and colours;

compare formulations;

work with one or several colours;

document formulas and results.

At the end, you take home:

the formulations used;

different tests;

a small series of prints;

your motif and work guide.
